Diana Prudius, she/her, is an 8th Grader at Glasgow Middle School. Her whole family is from Moldova, but she was born in the United States. At home she speaks English and Romanian. She loves everything about the arts, playing piano, alto saxophone, writing music, singing, writing poetry, and dancing ballet. Math is her favorite subject, and she enjoys reading about black holes and dark matter. The Umbrella Academy is Diana’s favorite tv show by far.

Brooke Ehmann - Jones (she/her), an 8th grader at Glasgow MS has been a writer for the Panther Post since the 2020 school year. She has lived in Northern Virginia all of her life and plays on a soccer team, loves playing music on her saxophone and the piano, enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and painting, and loves spending time outdoors on the many hikes she and her family have been on. Brooke is also very passionate about the environment and enjoys learning about nature, and volunteering to protect it. She has two cats at home, and loves traveling to national parks with her family. 

Isabella Pikner (she/her) is an 8th grader at Glasgow. She’s from Slovenia and moved to Virginia when she was 4. She plays volleyball and the cello. She likes drawing, painting, and the arts in general. A couple fun facts about her is that she used to dance for 10 years and her favorite movies are Howl’s Moving Castle and A Silent Voice.

Maclain Monsky (she/her) is an 8th grader at Glasgow Middle School and lives in Virginia. She is a competitive swimmer for the Potomac Marlins and the Dowden Terrace Dolphins. In the spring, she plays defense, attack, and goalie for Annandale Lacrosse. She recently joined VA 1 which is a travel lacrosse team. She enjoys art, especially using the mediums of markers and colored pencils. Another one of her favorite things to do is play Minecraft and Valorant with her brother.
