Are you sitting on the couch with nothing to do? Well, here are some shows you can watch that are interesting enough to cure your boredom:
The Vampire Diaries
Love, adventure, mystery, disasters, and dangers are all found in Mystic Falls, Virginia. Stefan Salvatore (played by Paul Wesley) is the selfless, brave and caring brother who 
instantly falls in love with a high school girl named Elena Gilbert (played by Nina Dobrov). Damon Salvatore (played by Ian Somerhalder) on the other hand is the selfish and dangerous brother who is trying to get back at his brother for turning him into a vampire in 1864. The Salvatore brothers turned into vampires during a vampire hunt in Mystic Falls. After 145 years of being vampires, Damon has never forgiven his brother for selfishly turning him into a vampire so that he wouldn’t be alone.
Stefan returns to Mystic Falls to meet Elena Gilbert who has a supernatural resemblance to his, and his brother’s, old love Katherine Pierce (played by Nina Dobrov). Damon soon returns, to fulfill his promise of eternal misery to his brother for turning him into a vampire 145 years ago. As Elena was mourning her parents death in a crash over a bridge, which happened shortly before the brothers arrived, her friends Caroline Forbes (played by Candice King) and Bonnie Bennett (played by Kat Graham) comfort her, but she thinks she will never be happy again, until she meets Stefan, and instinctively falls in love. As the two are dating Damon realizes he loves Elena too. As the Salvatore brothers fight for Elena’s love, Elena is unsure of who she truly loves. Watch to see who wins Elena’s heart. The Originals
Spin-off from The Vampire Diaries, The Originals take place in New Orleans. Klaus Mikaelson (played by Joseph Morgan) and his family are the original vampires. Klaus is the original vampire/werewolf hybrid. His family, Elijah (played by Danial Gillies), Rebekah (played by Claire Holt), Kol (played by Daniel Sharmen), and Finn (played by Casper Zafer) all helped build New Orleans. When Klaus returns, he finds that Marcel Gerard (played by Charles Michael Davis), who he raised as his own child, is in charge of New Orleans. As Klaus returns he finds out that he has a miracle baby and the mother is Hayley Marshall (played by Phoebe Tonkin). He struggles to accept this, but grows fond of the idea. Klaus wants to get back the power of the city he built, but he has to fight Marcel, who won’t give it up without a fight. Will the Mikaelsons be able to reclaim New Orleans before Klaus’s miracle baby is born? Watch to find out. This show can be found on Netflix.

The 100
Set ninety-seven years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization, the only known survivors live in twelve space stations orbiting Earth. The stations came together to form one massive station called “The Ark”. Rules are very important on the Ark, as resources are scarce. All crimes, no matter what they are, are punishable by death
unless the person is under 18 years old. If you are sentenced to death, you are sent to float in space.
After the Ark finds that their life support won’t last them, they send 100 juvenile prisoners in a last attempt to determine if Earth is habitable again. The teens arrive at the plant they’ve only seen from space. They find that it’s habitable, but there are many dangers lurking around. Although they thought all humanity was wiped out, they find that there are people living on Earth, which the 100 called “the grounders”. They quickly realize they are not welcome by the grounders and must band together to survive. This can be found on the CW.

Switched at Birth
Two teenage girls’ lives are out of control when they find out they were accidentally switched at birth. Bay Kennish (played by Vanessa Marano) grew up with a wealthy family, two parents and an older brother. Her mom is a stay-at-home mother, and her dad was a former pro third baseman. Daphne Vasquez (played by Katie Leclerc) grew up with a single mother in a poor neighborhood. Due to a case of meningitis, she lost her hearing when she was a child. The two babies were born at the same hospital, on the same day. The nurses at the hospital had claimed they were really tired, and ended up accidentally switching the two. When the two families meet, they struggle to learn to live together. There is love, fights, jealousy, and many more in this show. This show can be found on freeform.
