
Diana Prudius, she/her, is an 8th Grader at Glasgow Middle School. Her whole family is from Moldova, but she was born in the United States. At home she speaks English and Romanian. She loves everything about the arts, playing piano, alto saxophone, writing music, singing, writing poetry, and dancing ballet. Math is her favorite subject, and she enjoys reading about black holes and dark matter. The Umbrella Academy is Diana’s favorite tv show by far.

Lana Noredin is a 7th grader at Glasgow Middle school. Her family is originally from Sudan but her and all of her siblings were born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Falls Church, VA. Some of her talents are drawing, painting, and rollerskating. Some things she likes to do for fun are play video games, watch anime, read, and listen to music. Some of her favorite artists are Mother Mother, Beach Bunny, Cavetown, Arctic Monkeys, Babymetal, and Jack Stauber. She had two cats, but one passed away unfortunately. Although she can roller skate, she can’t ice skate or knows how to ride a skateboard.

Isabella Pikner (she/her) is an 8th grader at Glasgow. She’s from Slovenia and moved to Virginia when she was 4. She plays volleyball and the cello. She likes drawing, painting, and the arts in general. A couple fun facts about her is that she used to dance for 10 years and her favorite movies are Howl’s Moving Castle and A Silent Voice.

Stephen Blackadar is an 8th grader who is new to Glasgow Middle School and the Journalism Club. He has lived in Northern Virginia all of his life. In his free time, he likes to learn about computers, write fictional stories, or go on a camping trip with his Boy Scout troop. He also enjoys nature photography (see photo above).

Hi everyone! Thanks SO MUCH for Glasgow’s “Sit. Com” today!! This was a really interesting way of putting these ideas together – I never thought of turning them into texts! I think that teacher would be PERFECT!!
