Things To Do Over Winter Break
December 13, 2020
Winter break this year is going to be different for everyone due to COVID-19. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending all individuals to stay at home and not travel. With 13.8 million cases and over 272,400 deaths according to Johns Hopkins University, one could understand the reason for this request.
If you’re bored over winter break, here are some things to do by yourself: Watch a movie, listen to an audiobook or visit online museums. Things to do virtually with friends are: Play video games with your friends online together, virtual gift exchange, or virtual dance contest. Things to do outside safely are: Go on a hike, rock hop, or go outside and play your favorite sport.
If you do plan to spend time with family and friends the CDC recommends that you wear a mask, stay at least 6 feet apart from anyone who does not live with you, wash your hands often, or use hand sanitizer.
