The Super Bowl is the most watched televised event in the U.S. The Super Bowl is the final game in the NFL (National Football League) season. This year the teams playing in the big game are the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  This exciting contest is going to be Super Bowl LV(55).  We asked Glasgow students and the majority predict that the winners will be the Kansas City Chiefs, but why?

The majority of Glasgow thinks that the Kansas City Chiefs will win the super bowl. When we asked them why, some of the points they made were that Patrick Mahomes (the quarterback for the Chiefs) is faster and a better quarterback than Tom Brady (the Buccaneers quarterback).  Mahomes also helped the team to win the the Super Bowl last year.  A point that Buccaneers fans made is that Tom Brady has won a lot more Super Bowls than Patrick Mahomes.  This will be Brady’s tenth appearance in the big game, where he has already won 6.  The Super Bowl is going to be on February 7th.  No result is set in stone, so if you want to find out what happens in the Super Bowl you will have to watch it on Sunday, February 7th.  It airs on CBS at 6:30 pm.
