5 Things To Do This Summer
Set Up a Lemonade Stand or Bake sale
Setting up a lemonade stand or a bake sale is a fun activity to do by yourself or with friends. It is also a nice way to make some money which you can spend on yourself or donate to charity. You can make desserts like pie, cupcakes, cookies or lemonade and other drinks.
Volunteer Locally
Volunteering can be a great way to interact with others and make a positive change in the community. You can volunteer at local animal shelters, homeless shelters, participate in trash pickups and more. You can also volunteer by tutoring younger kids for free.
Make Homemade Popsicles
Popsicles are a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. So why not make them yourself? Grab some popsicle molds and some juice(or blend your own) and put it in a mold. Then stick it in the freezer and wait 3-5 hours, or overnight until they are frozen.
Go Outdoors
Spend some time outdoors over the summer and get some fresh air. There are many outdoor experiences that can be a lot of fun. For example, you can visit Green Spring Gardens, take a hike at Holmes Run, visit the Farmer’s Market at Mason District Park, and much more!
